These promos for the television show, Blind Date originated from real life, blind date confessionals collected via phone by the network.

The hellacious recordings were used as the basis for the animated promos which used cut-out collage puppets to bring to life the stories of the callers.

With titles like Ripped Pants, Radioactive and Crabs, these promos are indeed over-the-top cautionary tales from the dating scene.
